    I just received 2 MSI 570 Armor OC's. Who wants to take them for a spin. My damn 480 armors have been out performing my 480 Gaming X. this might be worth for someone to tweak as I just paid 165 a card.

    Where'd you but them for that price?

    I will provide stock mH/s in about an hour. Im really kicking ass with my setups right now. pulling 329.2-330 for the last 16 hours sucks I have to take a portion of it down for this but its worth it if it helps the community

    Here's my card results so far, some further optimization planned to reduce watts

    RX 580 Sapphire Pulse 8GB (Hynix)
    - bios mod
    - memory overclock and core downclock

    Claymore dual miner ETH and DCR @ 104watts

    ETH = 30.29 Mh/s
    DCR = 907.95 Mh/s

    i see some bios compatibility to mod rx470 to rx570 ... i think revert could be a good test ... if you have rx570 update old original bios from rx470 then copy straps depend of memory model ... probably consummation better ... for me rx470 are better than rx570 ... for Hash/watts

    i have 3 MSI Armor 570 and stock was like 2.5 and with OC i can get them to 23.1
    cant seem to be able to bios mod them > using the correct polaris and changing the 1625 straps to 1750 and 2000 or 1700 to 2000 doesnt produce an increase in Mh/s
    If anyone can take a look at the bios maybe and help out, that would be great.

    Aren't the hashrates for those 580s a bit low? Most 480s can do 29eth + 800+dcr so it makes no sense for the 580s to do less.
    In the pic there's a xfx8gig 480 and msi gamingx 4g 570 with a display attached to it.
    I am sure there is more room for voltages but I can't be bothered.
    The cooling on the MSI is just pure awsomeness, shame the 570 has no backplate.

    After a little tuning, I got my 580 to 32.27MH/s on Linux - I think it can go a little higher, though.

    well that's better. how much does it dual mine dcr? what memory?

    @ciprianpt dcri 23 gives 667 in dcr and only +0.3-0.5Mh/s in eth.

    Sorry, five, not six. And if I undervolt hard, I can get 750W at the wall, but I sacrifice some hashrate.

    I wonder how much the 570 would do... Im in process of trying to buy 72 either 570 or 580.. I wanted 470 cause they can do 30 and use like 800 watts, which is my goal for all 12 rigs lol

    So, I copied the timing straps from 1500 down to the rest of the other timings, only 24.5 Mh. Any suggestions?

    I found something interesting :-)
    I was the first one who modded his RX 470 to RX 570 after getting the bios copy from review unit @ Guru3D.
    till today I have tried all Bios file from all RX570/580 4GB with Hynix memory and I always got the best performance from Shapphire Nitro 570 bios and could not explain why, till today after some great people made great utility which decodes the timing starps- and Now I see that only Shapphire Nitro+ RX570 has better 1750mhz timing strap and only they have it:
    RX 570 Nitro+:
    1750 MHz: 16-16-24-24-70-19-157

    All other RX470/570 with same memory:
    1750 MHz: 17-17-24-24-72-19-173

    so get their bios and use their 1750 strap on your Hynix 4GB card :-)

    I'm going to report in this discussion every card I try.

    Recently, I tried two cards.

    Rx 580 8g Sapphire Nitro+ : Hynix
    -> ori : 22mh/s (17.4.3) 140w
    -> mod : 27mh/s (17.4.3) 86w

    Rx 580 8g Gigabyte Aorus : Samsung
    -> ori : 24mh/s (17.4.3) 135w
    -> mod : 28mh/s (17.4.3) 77w

    Today, I'm going to try out

    Rx 580 4g Sapphire Nitro+
    Rx 570 4g MSI twin frozr

    Would you please post your modded rom file for your Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 8GB with Hynix memory? I have the same card and have been have difficulties modding my vbios.

    Also after you mod are you using the Sapphire Trixx app to do additional modifications? If so what are you doing to get the 27MH. I'm stuck at 22MH and i'm pretty disappointed.

    I've got a couple of Gigabyte RX 570 Gaming, and using the 1500 strap I get 27 Mh/s with one and 29 on the other.

    I had to up the memory speed, one can only go to 1925 MHz, but the other can do 2000+. Until I upped the memory speed, I was only getting about 25 Mh/s.

    One question, when you guys post power numbers, are you pulling them from GPUZ or using a power meter at the wall? Because there is no way I can seem to get my power usage under 130-140 watts measured at the wall.

    I flashed my MSI Armor 570 4G Elpida with a custom power saving BIOS mod. The hashrate increased from 21.7 to 25.6. The memory is sitting at 1900 Mhz and GPU @ 980MHz Not as much as I would have wanted but it's really cool and stable.

    Power use from wall on that ? (if no meter then gpu-z watt usage is enough)
