Which RX480s have moddable BIOS? Purchase reccomendation please.
I built my first rig last week but apparently the cards I purchased have Micron memory which is supposedly not able to be modified. (SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon RX 480 DirectX 12 100406NT8GOCL). Im getting a stable 24.5-25.8 per card but using a lot of power.
Im going to build a second rig but want to make sure I buy cards where I can mod the bios and get closer to 30mhs or higher each with less power.
I see bioses here for "reference" cards, but what does that mean exactly?
I just dont want to purchase again and end up with more micron memory. Thanks.
