Miner running but need help to understand stuff

G'Day everyone,
I am looking for some help to understand if I am on the right track.
I have two miners each with a single GPU. Am mining eth.nanopool.org for just shy of two weeks.

Balance
0.05590077 ETH

How can I find out how many ETH or fractions I have?
The balance that is displayed goes up and then falls back and I am not sure what that means.

i don't know nanopool , but you may have automatic payement , set at 1 ETH or else , and it goes to your wallet , check your ETH wallet .

Nanopool has a minimum of 0.2 eth autopayout. When you mine 0.2 eth it will be sent to your address.
Look for the payments tab it's right to the workers.

Next: On my local miner - How can I check the wallet to see the total ETH in it?
What file(s) or folders should I be backing up?

depend where do you create your ETH wallet ?

exchange site ?

I am not sure. I thought it would be on the local computer.

myetherwallet.com is safe but if you want change it then vs euro/dollar or toher crytocurrency , you ll need an exchange website

i like kraken but coinbase seem not bad , you can create an ethereum adress directly on kraken > funding > ethereum , then add it to you miner , and coin will be send directly to kraken adress after you mine it on pool

I did create one on coinbase.com.
I will have to login to coinbase and check.
Still, are there any folders or files that I should be backing up on each of the two miner computers?
