I'm completely new to this mining.I want to buy new GPUs to build my rig.But all the posts and threads seem to be outdated. Can any one help me out and suggest some used or new GPUs.Thnx in advance
if you want to mine ETH - AMD Sapphire RX480 Nitro 8GB or NVIDIA GTX 1070 8GB. Depends completely on your price for electricity in your region. Post how much money you wanna spend and what power cost you have.
4gb Rx470's are the best bang for buck, mod the bios and you can get 28 per card. Also none of the threads/tutorials on this forum are outdated, just follow anything posted since July August when RX 4XX series came out, almost nothings changed in terms of hardware and configuring it.

Does AMD Sapphire RX480 Nitro 4gb lose a lot to 8gb?
And AMD Sapphire RX470 Nitro 4gb- The economy of power and money is not worth it?

Depending on your luck finding a 470, you could be $400 or more, if you're going to $400 your in EVGA GTX 1070 range, I'm pulling 30+ Mh/s today with only Precision X memory overclocking, could probably get 32 if I play with it a little more.
I've put this pretty basic guide together Best GPU for Mining Ethereum. Best of luck to you! Better hurry though, ETH will probably become PoS by the end of this year.
